Last night, while crusing through Blogland, I spotted Rilana’s Headband, and I knew I had to make one.

Molly's Headband

Pattern: Molly’s Headband (PDF, you have to scroll down a bit to find the pattern)
Yarn: Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in Malibu Blue (Just a little bit, not even half a skein)
Needles: US Size 6

Molly's Headband (1)

I love this headband! I was a little skeptical while knitting it, but It turned out awesome. It was super fun to knit, just a little bit of lace, very easy. I’ll definatly be making another. My only problem is that the i-cord ties are a bit too long. Instead of 12 inches, on my next one I might shorten them to about 6.

Now, I’m going to go Pack and do some laundry for my little trip for the Fourth of July, and then go find some yarn in my stash to make another headband.

  1. YAY, your headband turned out really cute too. I love that pattern and will make many more. They are great for summer, keeps hair out of the face…plus cotton is washable too.🙂
    Have a great 4th!

  2. Love the headband! Definitely need to knit this one.

  3. How cute is that headband!! Very pretty!
