I’m so upset.

That is our Christmas Tree. I’m so upset, it’s so tiny and sad, It doesn’t even stand upright, it tips over. Usually, our trees are huge, but this year, my dad decided that we should have a small tree. We are going to be out of town (actually, out of state, we’re going to Texas) for Christmas, and he didn’t want to clean up a tree if we aren’t even going to be in town.

Does that tree remind you of anything? Maybe a Charlie Brown Tree?

Argh, it’s just so sad, there arent even any presents under it, since we have to ship them to Texas.

Whatever. I’m excited about going to visit my grandparents and Aunt and Uncle and Cousins in Texas, it should be really fun. Let’s hope they have a nice, big tree. I’m leaving on the 22nd, next friday. Yay!

  1. Oh Kaity! You’re making me so sad! You’ll have a great time in Texas, and we’ll do Christmas all over again when you get home. Cheer up, Chuck!

  2. It could be worse, since we’re going out of town, we have no tree at all!!

  3. at least you guys HAVE a tree (even if it IS a cute little Charlie Brown one). we were supposed to get one last weekend… but it was totally rainy… and now this weekend its supposed to be totally rainy too!! as Charlie Brown would say… ARGH

  4. well, a tree is a tree.

  5. …and that huge angel on the top is weighing it down…

  6. String some popcorn to use as garland for this little tree. Get your sister & friends to help you tonight or tomorrow night. Then when your Dad puts it outside, the birds can feed on the popcorn. Puts this little tree in a different light doesn’t it? Gives it purpose & stature! Have fun in Texas.

  7. That little tree needs some love. Imagine how it feels, disappointing you like that. I like the strung popcorn idea. It would be very festive. I hope you have a wonderful holiday in Texas!

  8. Remember…it’s not about the tree…….IT’S ABOUT THE PRESENTS!!!! WOO-HOO!!!! (just kidding!)

  9. You didn’t do your part…where are the window snowflakes?

  10. Awww it’s a Charlie Brown Christmas tree!

  11. it does look a bit sad, but you can fix it: knit a few little festive socks, and a itty bitty festive sweaters to decorate it, wrap up some empty boxes–little ones, and put them under the tree. I think you can make it look really cute :).

  12. poor girl. a mini tree!
